Chad Stuart teamed up with
his wife Jill Stuart to release the protest song “The Cruel War” – a song penned by Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey from Peter, Paul & Mary. The flip side “I Can’t Talk to You” was written by Denver Colorado recording star Bob Lind. The song by PP& M reached number 52 – entering the charts as well in April of 1966.
